Thank you for shopping with Merel Scent. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our policy below.
Return Eligibility
- Defective/Damaged Items: Accepted within 7 days of delivery. Email photo proof to: hello@merelscent.co.za.
- Change of Mind: Accepted within 7 days for unused, full-priced items only. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
Conditions for Returns
- Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition.
- All candle care instructions and warnings must be followed to qualify for a return or refund.
- Opened, used, or damaged products due to misuse cannot be returned.
Return Process
- Email us at hello@merelscent.co.za with your order number and reason for return.
- Include photos of damage or defect if applicable.
- Once approved, send the product to:

Refunds
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 working days of receiving the returned item.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable (except for damaged/defective goods).
- An administration fee of 10% may apply for cancellations before dispatch.
Shipping
- Merel Scent covers return shipping for damaged or defective items.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping on change-of-mind returns.

- Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
